St. Mary's Global Foundation for Education and Health is a registered non-governmental organization operating in Juba, South Sudan. We work to improve the quality of life in some of the world's most underserved communities by delivering integrated education and healthcare programs to underprivileged children, women, and families across South Sudan. Our approach is community-driven, sustainable, and grounded in local partnership.

Our Mission

To improve the quality of life in South Sudan through sustainable education and health programs that empower communities, build local capacity, and create pathways out of poverty for the most vulnerable populations — particularly underprivileged children and families in Juba and surrounding states.

Our Vision

A South Sudan where every community has access to quality education and healthcare — where no child is denied the chance to learn, and no family goes without essential medical care regardless of where they live or what they have survived.

Geographic Focus

Primary operations are based in Juba, South Sudan (Central Equatoria State), with program reach extending to Jonglei State and Western Equatoria State. We work in both urban informal settlements and rural communities where services are most scarce and need is greatest.

Achol Mayen Deng Executive Director & Co-Founder Overall organizational strategy, program oversight, donor and partner relations. Public health specialist with 15+ years of community development experience in South Sudan.
James Lual Bol Director of Education Programs Manages community learning centers, teacher training initiatives, scholarship programs, and school partnership development across South Sudan.
Rebecca Nyandeng Akot Director of Health Initiatives Oversees mobile health outreach, maternal care, community health worker training, and WASH programs in Juba and rural states. Registered nurse and midwife.
Board of Trustees Governing Body Provides fiduciary oversight, strategic governance, and ensures organizational accountability and compliance with NGO registration requirements in South Sudan.
